Working group to meet on caribou hunting conflict

Game Management Unit 23’s first working group meeting will take place in Kotzebue from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. on April 23-24, at the Northwest Arctic Borough Assembly Chambers.
The meeting will focus on a planning process to address fall caribou hunting use conflicts.
There will be an opportunity for public comment from 1-1:45 p.m. on both days.
The working group will meet several times each year in Kotzebue over the next two to three years. All meetings are open to the public.
