Herbert to address birders on Nov. 27

The Kachemak Bay Birders will meet at 4:30 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Islands and Ocean Visitor Cente?in the auditorium?Following the meeting there will be a presentation by Jim Herbert on the "Birds of Hyder."

In June of this year, Jim Herbert and Kerry Martin drove the Alcan and Cassiar Highways to Hyder. This small town in Southeast is more Canadian than American. It is also a mecca for many birds not found elsewhere in Alaska. Herbert will show slides of the trip, as well as discussing travel logistics.

All meetings are free and everyone is invited to attend.
