The Bethel Regional High School Warriors spoiled a gutsy performance from the Kotzebue High School Huskies this past weekend and notched a pair of key road victories in Western Conference play.

Tye Ramoth and Bish Gallahorn made the wins anything but easy.

Bethel got double-digit performances from three players on Friday and managed to eke out a 64-55 victory. Jayvin Williams led the Warriors with 14, while Carl Charlie and Clevon Constantine added 13 and 11, respectively.

Gallahorn and Ramoth both led the Huskies. Gallahorn scored 12 points in the second quarter and finished with a game-high 18. Ramoth scored nine of his 17 in the final eight minutes and helped the Huskies outscore Bethel by a 13-9 clip.

Louis Edenshaw also played well. He scored nine points in the contest - all via three-point shots.

The Huskies played just as tough on Saturday despite a 56-49 setback.

Kotzebue controlled the game early on. Edenshaw knocked down three three-point shots in the first half and Ramoth chipped in eight points en route to lead the Huskies to a 27-24 halftime lead.

Edenshaw finished with 13 points, all of which came in the first two quarters.

Ramoth led all Kotzebue scorers in Game 2, netting 17.

Harry Baldwin also starred for the Huskies. He scored nine points.

Kotzebue will face Barrow this weekend in its final regular season games.
