The body of fisherman Gregg T. Kortesma was found in Ruth Rock Creek, near the OSI crab pot storage yard, off Captains Bay Road in Unalaska.

Significant head injuries were apparent, according to the Unalaska Department of Public Safety, which is interested in information on Kortesma's activities between Sept. 3 and 12.

He was discovered in the steep ravine by local hikers, who immediately notified the police. He was reported to have fished on the Alaska Trojan, and was seen at the Norwegian Rat bar on Sept. 2, according to police.
