Dull, DHS compete in home meet

Cole Dull continued his impressive junior season with another strong performance on Saturday at the 2016 Dillingham Invitational. He led a group of five DHS runners that finished in the boys' top 15.

Dull collected a silver medal for his efforts in the 5-kilometer event. He finished second overall with a time of 19 minutes and 45 seconds.

The Wolverines also collected personal-best efforts from a trio of runners, including Chris Williams, Tanner Savo and Theodore Luckhurst. Williams placed sixth overall with a time of 20:43. Savo was 11th at 23:23, while Luckhurst turned in a time of 25:48 and finished 14th.

Senior Zach Tilden also did well, finishing 15th at 25:52.

Hannar Berkoski highlighted the Lady Wolverines' outing. She raced her way to second in the girls' division with a time of 24:21.

Hean Krause also legged out a top 10 effort, placing seventh at 26:23.

No other stats from the meet were available as of press time.
